Why this project exists

AIが答えを出す時代だからこそ、人間の問いを残したい。

私は寺院運営、葬儀の現場、地域の相談支援に関わる中で、人が大切な判断を迫られる場面に立ち会ってきました。

そこで感じたのは、人間に本当に必要なのは、ただ速い答えではなく、自分の中に残る問いであり、誰かと考え直すための灯である、ということです。

AIは便利な道具です。しかし、使い方を誤れば、人間の判断を奪い、記憶を薄め、責任の所在を見えにくくしてしまう可能性もあります。

Because AI can answer so quickly, we must preserve the human question.

Through temple practice, funeral work, and regional consultation, I have stood beside people at moments when important decisions could not be reduced to speed or efficiency.

What people need in such moments is not merely a fast answer. They need a question that remains within them, and a light that allows them to think again with someone else.

AI is a powerful tool. But if used without care, it can obscure human judgment, thin out memory, and make responsibility harder to see.

ZEN LAMPが目指すこと

ZEN LAMPは、AIを否定するものではありません。むしろAIを深く使うために、人間の問いと判断を残す設計を目指しています。

小説『北の灯』は、この思想を物語として描いた作品です。そして ZEN LAMP Mode / Human Judgment Layer は、その思想を実装へ近づけるための構想です。

AIが答えを出す時代だからこそ、人間は何を問い、何を選び、何に責任を持つのか。ZEN LAMP PROJECTは、その灯を社会に残すための試みです。

What ZEN LAMP aims to build

ZEN LAMP does not reject AI. It seeks to help people use AI more deeply by preserving the role of human questioning and judgment.

The novel Northern Light expresses this philosophy through story. ZEN LAMP Mode / Human Judgment Layer is the attempt to move that philosophy toward implementation.

In an age when AI can generate answers, the central question is what humans will ask, choose, remember, and take responsibility for. ZEN LAMP PROJECT exists to keep that light visible.
